The DC Comic book legends Superman, Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman and Aquaman return to fight for justice and protect the good people of planet Earth. Summary: Quite honestly the best cartoon ever
Comment: Thanks to teletoon retro I discovered this fantastic cartoon. It has a wonderful team of super heros: Superman, Batman and Robin, Wonderwoman, Aquaman, and (my favorite) the wonder twins Zan and Jayna, with thier space monkey Gleek.
Of all the superfriends, the best are definitly the wonder twins. Thier power is hilarious and awesome, which is putting thier rings together and turning into various things. Zan always turns into either something ice or water, and Jayna always turns into an animal. In this collection, they turn into some pretty wild and funny things. However, gleek often steals the spotlight from them with random acts which everyone laughs at, despite them being un humorous.
My other favorite is Robin, who says anything and everything that he sees happen in front of him. I saw one episode (not in this collection unfortunately) where batman actually got mad at robin for doing that so much, and robin apologized and didn't speak the rest of the episode.
some episodes have scenes showing either batman and robin in the bat mobile, wonderwoman in her invisible jet, aquaman swimming, super man flying etc. etc., where you see them for about 3 seconds, then the superfriends symbol spirals out and it moves on to the next scene. Its pretty funny.
Despite the age of these corny cartoons, they are still extremely enjoyable, and very hilarious. Buy this collection, you won't be disappointed.

Comment: The All-New Superfriends Hour: Season One, Vol. 1
It was really good! The format is like the original saturday morning show. You get one shorter story with one or two superfiends then a wondertwins episode, a full superfriends episode like the "Plant Creatures" or " When Worlds Collide" and then a two superfiend episode often with a special guest star like "The Atom". It is a great walk down memory lane!

Warner Home Video has announced that The All-New Super Friends Hour - Season 1, Volume 2 will come to DVD early in 2009. It follows up on this past January's release of Season 1, Volume 1 which introduced Wonder-Twins Zan and Jayna (and space-monkey Gleek).
And it's worth noting that the episodes on this upcoming release were produced prior to the Wonder-Twins-included adventures found on Warner's 2005 release of Super Friends - Volume 2 (it was never precisely clear why the studio titled the release that way...but don't worry about it; just enjoy the cartoons!).
It's worth noting that the back of the box for Warner's recent release of DC Super Heroes: The Filmation Adventures mentions to "Look for All-New Super Friends Hour - The Complete Series"; however our inquiries to the studio about their plans for that brought no response. It's possible that this was a misprint, and that they meant to promote this release instead. The "complete series" title might be coming down the road, but the studio has made only this announcement so far.
The new release with 32 more cartoons will arrive on January 27th. It's a 2-disc set presented in full screen video and with English audio. Pricing wasn't provided, but is expected to clock in at $26.99 SRP. Bonus material was not mentioned on this morning's original announcement, but we *are* expecting at least a few extras to be included. Here's a list of the included episodes, followed by the package art:

Summary: Where is the 1973 season?
Comment: I love this set. It brings back alot of great memories watching this, but Im still waiting on the 1973 season with Wendy, Marvin and Wonder Dog. Ok, I know it wasnt the best, but thats the one I remember the most watching....Classic....

Comment: Well these cartoons are more educational then superheroing, I can understand why they did it. They wanted cartoons to educate as well as entertain. I guess it could have been done better. Then again that;s what School House Rock was all about, but then again School House Rock had a better team of animators and recording artists to work on them. These cartoons look like they were done by people who could only draw what the low budget permitted.
