It's a great reminder of the early books when life was a little simpler for Harry - well as simple as Harry Potter's life could be. Customer Rating: Summary: the sorcerers stone, a satisfing and fun game Comment: I thought it was a fun game but fairly easy. If visual details matters to you a lot in a game then it would be a good idea to use it on a g4 imac because the details are very bad on a g3 computer. all so if you like hard games this may not be the game for you but maybe it was just me who found it easy. some parts take time like the sneak up and down from the tower level. Customer Rating: Summary: I'm not sure it's worth the aggravation Comment: I have not yet had the time or patience to finish the first game. I find it annoying that sometimes when you need to redo a part of the game from the last saved spot you have to endure the movie portion that leads up to the task to be completed such as fleeing the troll. Perhaps it's just me, but I find Quidditch very tedious. That said, I do enjoy learning the new spells and collectiing the jellybeans and stars and some of the dialog is quite enjoyable. Customer Rating: Summary: Better than the first Comment: As with most video games, the better the graphics, the more memory you need. If you have an old Mac, or a Mac not made for gaming (OLD iBooks, imacs and G3s), check your memory... if you have never upgraded, this game could quit. Quit ALL the other applications you might have open before running the game. That might help. OS9 is too old for most video games too. Try to have at least OS 10.2. If you have a relatively new Mac OS, good memory, fast processor (newer, with a relatively good graphics card), this is a great game for younger kids. Customer Rating: Summary: One Problem with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Comment: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is an amazing game, graphic and gameplay wise. You learn many easy spells such as lumos, flipendo, and incedio, by attending classes and following a patter with your wand. The controls are very easiily customized, and the quidditch is awesome. The graphics setting can be changed so that your PC (or mac) can run the game. One problem i have been having with Harry is thatwhen you finish the Lumos challenge and begin to head for the Potions challenge, my game unexpectedly quits. I do not know anything about the second harry potter. More Reviews
