Summary: A Wonderful and Captivating Musical Journey
Comment: After watching the HP films, the first thing I thought about was, "Where can I get the music?" I absolutely love this collection of songs for many reasons. First of all, I hate to get soundtracks and realize that each song is only 1-2 minutes long. This is SO not the case with this disc. Each sweeping song is just long enough for each listener to get their fill. Another reason why this cd is great is because it compiles the two best composers from the series: John Williams (of course) and Patrick Doyle. Not that the other composers are bad, but these two, in my opinion, are amazing. Whenever I listen to this record (which is great for long car trips!), I find myself remembering the bits in that particular film that it came from, and I'm transported to the world of HP. The Prague Philharmonic Orchestra creates magic with this album! This cd is an excellent buy for anyone who likes HP, or who simply likes great classical music.

1)The theme of the song. Obvious choice.
3)Wonderful overtones and gorgeous strings. Shows the real emotion of the movie.

Summary: Good, but not Great
Comment: This CD is good, but not as good as the 1st and 5th soundtracks. It does allow you to hear specific songs from the movie that bring back the scenes: dance from #4 and march from #4. It's good if you want to review the Harry Potter movies, but I don't find it as relaxing for background music as the others. I think for me, I'm just not as much a fan of Patrick Doyle's compositions to hear outside the movie, as I am John Williams.

Comment: This CD is a must for anyone.John Williams brings his artistic qualities, once again. It brings back memories, of the movies, but is also a quiet "background" sort of CD. Sometimes quiet and soothing, other times boistrous. A versatile addition to any John Williams or Harry Potter collection.
