Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Good graphics but not that compelling Comment: Ran great on my MacBook Pro 15". Beautiful graphics. Game supplied a fun environment in which to run around. Did not really require that much skill or thoughtfulness. Accomplishing tasks were more time-consuming and laborious, than challenging and fun. I pooped out before I got to the end. It was just not that compelling for me to finish, I simply lost interest in the end. Customer Rating: Summary: Fun but not Great Comment: This game worked just fine in my iMac G5, which meets all the system requirements shown in the box. It was enjoyable, though not great. After going through it one time (which took many days, of course), I had no desire to play it again, though some people might enjoy playing such games over and over to see how much they could improve their score. There were some features to the game that I did not understand and which seemed to serve no purpose. Graphics were quite good and the game ran very smoothly. Customer Rating: Summary: Beware for Mac Mini also! Comment: Beware! As the other reviewer noted, this software will not work with Intel GMA 950 graphics - in my case this means that it will not work with a brand new Mac Mini. My daughter wasn't in tears, but was very upset. After installing the game and trying to start it I got a black screen with an "unrecognized video signal" error message. I finally found out the problem - it is halfway through the "read me" file on the DVD. The Amazon website doesn't mention this problem, and all I could find on the EA website was "Electronic Arts game titles will only work on Mac systems that use the Intel-based processor" without mentioning graphics cards. This is bad labeling on the part of both Amazon and EA. Unfortunately the order shipped to me 5 days before Amazon's return window policy would allow a full refund. Customer Rating: Summary: Defective product Comment: Beware, though the product description says OSX and even the DVD package says "For a Mac with an Intel processor," this game will not work with a brand new Intel Macbook. Christmas morning I had a child in tears! If you go to Apple.com you can find information that the game doesn't support the GMA 950 graphics card. No where on the shrink-wrapped package does it list system requirements other than "For a Mac with an Intel processor." Bad label, bad product. This is garbage--if a product says it is for a MAC, it should work with a brand new Mac. If it doesn't work, it shouldn't be released. More Reviews
