I went ahead and ordered three, the youngest one (18 months) felt left out so I got him one so that he could hold it 'like a phone' and he goes crazy pressing the buttons, particularly the blue 'scan' button, his older brothers love to enact the power ranger scenes, so definitely it was a good thing to purchase these, it goes well with their imagination and also with their action figures.
