Summary: Great for adults, too!
Comment: Those of us who are older often didn't have books like this to learn from. I'm 58 and my father is 88 and we live in an old town with trains. Boy, did we enjoy this book! Coupled with a more pictoral/photographic book on trains, one can really learn a lot! Get it. You won't regret it!

Summary: book just FULL of information!
Comment: My nephew (4 yrs. old) just LOVES this book! We checked it out from the library .... and after returning it decided to order one for him. While it is not something that all children will like, if your child is into learning facts while at the same time LOVES trains, then this is one for him/her. I would highly recommand this book to add to your home library .... or if you are a teacher, for your classroom.

Summary: A Fascinating Look at Trains
Comment: My four-year-old son and I checked this book out from our local library. The colorful pictures held his attention while I read the interesting facts and figures.
