From the supplier: A project at Pennsylvania State University at McKeesport that was intended simply as a way of getting students in both the mechanical and electrical engineering programs involved in a joint project has grown from a fairly simple computer-controlled drilling machine to a full-blown computer-integrated manufacturing (CIM) workcell, complete with a robotic vision system from Rhino Robotics, Inc, implemented when a defective piece of material was thrown across room by the unit's loading device.
