Summary: Great for 1yr and up
Comment: [....]That is outrageously expensive to me. I had to do a triple take.
However:
My son loves these even though we have lost 2 already. He constantly comes back to the one we have left and plays with it at least twice a week. In the rotation it is definitely in the top of the list. He drops it constantly. No problem. It is the perfect size for little hands to grab. Definitely a good toy, but I would never pay even half of the Amazon listed price for it.

Summary: My Boys LOVE These!!!!
Comment: My oldest son who will be 4 in January got these for his 2nd birthday 2 years ago, he played with them forever and gets them out now and builds big crazy MONSTER Trucks to run over his Hotwheels. His grandma saw these in Kmart as a return from another store, we had never seen them before and haven't seen them in any stores since which is a bummer because the tops to one of the trucks was lost when we had company once. Other than not being able to find them to replace them we love these toys. My youngest son who is 15 months loves these, he crashes them into everything and not matter how hard he pitches them they don't break, he likes to stick different blocks on them.
This price does seem high, but as it seems they are discontinued it maybe what you would have to pay now.
I recommend this to anyone with kids who love to build and drive!

Comment: My little boy loves these. He takes them apart and puts them back together. He likes to play with them on the rock hill as well. I would like to see more "track" for them. Great toy!

Summary: One of my son's favorites
Comment: My son (currently approaching 15 months) is totally obsessed with cars and trucks, and has been pretty much from the time he was old enough to hold a toy car in his hand. Even car ads on TV drive him crazy with joy. As a compulsive shopper, I buy him toy cars and trucks all the time. :) Out of all of his toys, this set may be his favorite. He loves to zoom the cars across the floor (they roll very easily, even on the carpet) and also to take them apart and put them together. It's a little hard to pull the first piece off when taking them apart, so his mom or I has to help him with that, but it's OK -- he can take the second piece off and put them back on just fine. (We sometimes use his other Mega Bloks to put together big crazy vehicles using the parts from these three trucks -- it's hard to see from the picture, but each truck consists of two top pieces and a chassis piece, all of which connect up with any other Mega Bloks.)
By the same token, they are very sturdily put together. He of course throws them and drops them on the floor sometimes, and because they are hard plastic, they make a very loud noise on the tile, but there hasn't been so much as a hairline crack. I can see them lasting until he outgrows them.
The set does seem a little expensive for the amount of stuff you get (we actually bought it for much less at a discount store), but in hindsight, my son loves this toy so much and it's so sturdily built that it would have been worth the retail price.
