Summary: Great for a train lover!
Comment: I purchased the Maxim Record and Playback station for Christmas 2007. It arrived in January (even though I ordered it in October.) Luckily my son's birthday was in January so it turned out he got it for his birthday. It has been 9 months and the record option still works great! I have been very pleased with the quality of the product. In my opinion it's as good as the Thomas stuff that costs twice as much.

Comment: Our four year old twin grandchildren love to record and play their own messages. The train station is colorful. They enjoy imagining the trains stopping to pick up or discharge passengers. Luckily the canopy over the tracks can be easily removed since a few engines are too tall to go under it. Most engines fit nicely. The switch to stop engines is a nice idea but some of the engines we have don't hang low enough to be slowed by it.

Comment: I purchased this as a birthday gift for my 2 year old grandson.
He loves his Train Station! The ability to make a recorded a message to playback when the button is pushed makes it more interactive and realistic.
