Summary: Thomas Lighthouse Bridge and Bulstrode
Comment: Another great idea from Thomas! I purchased the lighthouse and bridge for my grandson's, Dominic, 5th birthday and, of course, his brother, Cristian, 4, joined in the fun. They had been to the marina and were familiar enough with the boats and lighthouse to be able to relate to this wonderful addition to the Thomas Railway system. The lights and sounds of the lighthouse and bridge are delightful! It adds yet another dimension to the imaginative play world of Thomas. Highly recommended!

Summary: Great fun and something different for the Thomas tracks
Comment: My 5 y.o. saw this in a hobby store and had to have it. I made him wait for Christmas and he was so excited when he received it for a Christmas present. He absolutely loves playing with it. We have to turn the lights off in the room so he can do the lighthouse light! It's especially meaningful to him since we spent Thanksgiving at the beach and visited so many lighthouses. The fog horn is realistic and even my 7 y.o. gets in on playing with it.

Summary: Jackson and the Lighthouse
Comment: My son wanted this Thomas toy badly. I was not keen on buying it after sending back a huge box of leaded paint toys just weeks earlier. I did however purchase it because he does not eat his toys being 3 1/2.
The set is nice and adds a great water feature to the train table. It is cheaper than the large dock set from T&F's. Much cheaper.
Good features:
The bridge stays up so that the child can push the boat over the water.
It makes a horn noise only for a second.
The lighthouse does make a bell noise with birds.
The lighthouse lights up.
Its a toss up. If your child loves T & F's its a great add on. If they are fly by night lovers, I would buy something less expensive.

Comment: My son LOVES the bridge and the sounds that it makes and now he finally has Bulstrode, which is a dream come true for him! I am so happy that they came out with this, because we did not need the whole "down at the docks" set, just an addition to what we currently have. =)

With its bright light and working foghorn, the Lighthouse keeps ships safe in the harbor. Bulstrode the Barge also works nearby, blowing his horn as he passes below the bridge. Just push the roof to activate the light and hear sounds on The Lights & Sounds Lighthouse, and push the lever to raise and lower the drawbridge. Hear the barge horn blow when the bridge is raised.
