Customer Rating: Summary: Good idea...but points off for plastic Comment: Both the boxcar and the open wagon with milk have very little wood on them, so paying 20$ for hunks of plastic seems a little much right?! While it is steep, as I have said before you can get these on sale if you are lucky, and add them to any train for a fun time. The boxcar's moving door sounds are clever and I found them not to be too loud or irritating like the sounds the battery powered trains make. Aside from that, they are relatively well made. My only question is why they made the dairy cars like this when in most of the videos, the dairy cars are milk tankers. I heard they used to make milk tankers...maybe search Ebay if you can find a cheaper version. Well I bought this and since there is a lack of regular freight vans, the milk van works well for that too.

The people on the Island of Sodor need milk, and they can always count on the Sodor Dairy Cars to deliver it! The children especially love to see the Dairy Cars and hear the cows moo as they pass by. The Dairy Cars play a "moo" sound when a little engineer slides the side door open. Also includes a milk barrel car. They're made with real wood and connect with magnet connectors. Each car measures approximately 3".
