Summary: Excellent toy for role playing
Comment: My kids love this toy. The advantages I see:

- Durability.
- Quality.
- It is not made in China.
- Simple but yet appealing because it is the kid who developes the play rather than the toy doing everything for the kid.
- Excellent for role-playing.

Summary: It's a good toy, but you cannot really build anything
Comment: Considering that her father is German, it's not surprise that we have some toys made in Germany. All Playmobil toys came from my daughter's loving aunt and uncle. At the moment, she has a railroad, a dump truck, and a playground from Playmobil 123 series. One thing that I don't like about them is that the doll figures are very simplistic, and you cannot really build anything out of these sets, they are basically just expensive plastic toys. My toddler doesn't play with them every day, but occasionally she pulls her Playmobil box out and gets totally absorbed in it. Her games are getting more complex - she can now put train tracks together, and she changes doll figures between various places chatting to herself as she does it. I know that another Playmobil box is waiting for her to be opened at her birthday. I hope that she will enjoy it, but I am looking forward to transition to a "real" Playmobil.

Editorial Reviews:

The Playmobil 123 Train is the large-size pretend play set for toddlers that includes a colorful train with an engine car, passenger car, and blue circular track. Also includes conductor figure and a passenger.
