Summary: Lionel the Movie DVD
Comment: This 3 Dvd set goes over the history of lionel train cars/locos and sets. It showed how many of the automatic cars/buildings never really worked well considering the technology of the time, but how the trains themselves have lasted a lifetime and more. Also showed many original photos/movies of advertisements/displays on tv. Most of it shown on home/show/window train tables. Small amount of history on Lionel B Cowen. This is not a movie in a sense, but a documentary on the historic trains/accessories throughout the pre and post era times. If your a collector, it is of great importance in knowing what worked well and what didn't, what is wanted and what isn't. My children enjoyed the visions and visions of trains and accessories and the old AD's. They were and still are Trains for All, and bring back fond memories of my own childhood days filled with American Flyer, Marx and Lionel trains. A four star only because I would have enjoyed more history on Joshua L.B. Cowen.
