Summary: In which one can learn all of the important words and phrases in the Hundred Acre Wood
Comment: You can never have too much knowledge, in life. You can especially never have too much knowledge of Winnie the Pooh and his world, the Hundred Acre Wood.
A.R. Melrose did something that, as far as I know, no one has ever attempted before, in the history of A. A. Milne's beloved world and characters. He made an adorable and yet helpful Pooh Dictionary.
This small but valuable book contains not only traditional words, their definitions, and parts of speech, but also places, events, characters, and phrases that are used throughout the Pooh series of books. All of this wonderful and amusing information is backed up by quotes, black and white drawings by Ernest H. Shepard, and references with title and page number of the quoted information.
This is a well constructed book that would make the perfect gift for any fan of Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Owl, Kanga, Roo, Rabbit, or Christopher Robin. I would highly recommend it to everyone. It will be cherished as a wonderful companion to the series for many generations to come.
