Summary: Some kids ok others not
Comment: I purchased this for my daughter when she turned one in 02, of course it doesnt run great on the carpets, and the peices are much better apart, but that is all One and two year olds. We never had any major problems with it with her. I put it up for a few years when she out grew it, my son is now 18 months and I took it out for him to play with. My four year old turned the train on for him, and the first thing he did was pinch the skin of his hand in the train. It is a great toy, and my kids have loved it. My son is able to make anything dangerous, but I do wish there would have been some kid of guard to stop the toy from catching childrens hands. The toy also continues to run once your skin is hung up too which makes it that much worst. Maybe it is possible for them to make future models that will only run on the track or something like that. I will let him play with it, but now only were I can make sure he isnt taking his hand off with it.

Comment: Great activity - Pooh and his friends ask you to do things as you enjoy this magical train set - I have never seen anything like this - very impressed - my daughter loves it!

Summary: Good fun for 2 to4 yr olds!
Comment: Great toy on a flat surface, not good for carpeting. Both of our girls played with it since we got in 12/03. They are hard to find now but worth at least $20 if you find it! Not worth the original $60 - then marked down to $30. But for a $20 bill, this toy will last at least two years of great fun - the talking characters are great! If you find one on eBay or elsewhere buy it - we never had a problem like others mention.

Summary: DANGER! RECALL THIS ONE!
Comment: My daughter got her skin caught in the wheels on the bottom of the train! I wanted to see how so i put my finger there. Basically the little wheels go around so fast they will suck your skin, hair or whatever else is there into them. IT HURTS! Bad toy, should be recalled!

I bought this for my daughter last December on her 2nd birthday and it has been a hit. However, today she was playing with it and put it on her arm and one of the wheels pinched her skin right up into the toy and it would not come off. SHe came to me screaming with the train stuck on her arm. She actually yanked it off before I could turn it off and it left a bruise and a small cut. I will call Fisher Price on Monday and report this problem.
