Customer Rating: Summary: This is the review I should have read before I bought this. Comment: Thank you Soccer mom, your review sums up my problems with this video perfectly. I wish I'd read it, and only it, before I bought this. I'm reposting it here, because it's exactly my sentiments.
I'm so annoyed, because my 4 year old who could easily count to ten, now often counts in the 'disorder' that Roo was doing when he'd 'forget'. She doesn't understand it isn't correct, she's just memorizing the movie lines.
Education sacrificed for entertainment., April 10, 2006

The story line is too distracting for children to learn anything.
The only children wh would benefit frim this video are children who already know how to count.
This video isn't repetative enough teach 2 through 5 year olds how to recognize numbers.
The parts when the character "Roo" gets confuses and counts in "disorder" can easily confuse a child just learning how to count and works against parents who count before this video.
This video is for entertainment only. It sacrifices learning opportunities for a story line. It will not teach 2 to 5 year old children to recognize numbers and may confuse children who already know how to verbally count.
I am very disapointed with this video. You'd think a company as large a Disney would hire someone who knows something about teaching preschoolers as consultants.
Customer Rating: Summary: Winnie the Pooh 123's Comment: Excellent video. It is actually my favorite in our collection. It does a great job of introducing numbers in a fun practical way. I wish the video on the ABC's was as good. Strongly recommend
Customer Rating: Summary: Great DVD Comment: My 2 year old loves this DVD, it has been a great learning tool, it took no time at all for him to learn to count. The only downfall is that it only teaches to count to ten.
Even so, i highly recommend this DVD.
Customer Rating: Summary: 100% Satisfied Comment: Received in perfect condition well before the delivery time estimate.
No problems with the CD, fully functional.
100% Satisfied.
Daughter watches over and over and is never bored.
Customer Rating: Summary: entianing for my three year old Comment: I bought this for my son, and he has enjoyed it. I like the fact that it's not more than a half hour. Any longer and my son wouldn't watch it. He likes to watch this while I make dinner, so it makes an entertaing yet educational, so I don't feel as guilty "putting him in front of the dreaded television."
