Summary: Never worked
Comment: My son got this for Christmas back in 2006. I tried to program it then, and the information wouldn't download to the toy. He was a little young for it at the time anyway, so I just put it away. When we were moving I found Pooh along with the disc and USB cable, so I decided to try him again. Not superisingly, he still doesn't work. This toy would be a fun concept for a tottler, if they had bothered to make sure it worked before rushing to get it released. Hopefully, newer version function.

Comment: I was sceptical at first. Bought it for my 2 yeasr old daughter. It was very easy ti install the cd rom onto my computer and change the interactive applications from computer to pooh. My daughter loves him and takes him everywhere. The name database is great although it didn't have her name-Jayla but had her new sister Kylahs . Both are a little original so I compromisedand picked the next closest thing and my 2 yr old thinks him saying Jala instead is funny and just because he is a toy. I did submit for the company to add the name Jayla in case any of you have a child with name are wondering. He is a great buy for toddlers.

Summary: "Pooh-Pooh" On Customer Complaints
Comment: I just got this item called Pooh Knows Your Name from an Amazon merchant as this item will be for my roommate/best friend whom turns 28 years old in slightly over a month but I already have this huggable,loveable little Pooh bear all ready to go much ahead of time!! I thought she might very well enjoy this item since she does like Pooh but I'm not sure how much she REALLY enjoys a good Pooh or two so I'll take my chances on this one,though. I ordered the Elmo one for myself and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT...I LOVE ELMO!! As for this birthday gift from me to my roommate/best friend,I pray that she'll enjoy it since I'm having LOADS OF FUN with Elmo plus my roommate/best friend is well enjoying my Elmo so I have a sneaking suspicion that she'll enjoy this cuddly little Pooh but to forwarn her and everyone else whom is either considering buying this Pooh OR collect Pooh so be prepared!! Pooh will talk at random IF switch IS NOT turned off,that is. Pooh is a good little cuddly bear whom deserves his special reward...a sweet smackeral of...you guessed it,honey!! Yum,yum!!

Summary: My kids love it!
Comment: Pooh was a gift for my daughter who is two and she loves it. She is so amazed that Pooh says her name and all the things she loves like chocolate milk. My son also loves it (he's 4) so when he wants to play with Pooh I just download his name and favorite things. It's quick and easy. If I can figure it out anyone can!
They both love it! Pooh is very soft and cuddly and you can program 3 names in addition to your child's name. You can also program your child's favorite foods at breakfast lunch and dinner. He also knows when it's time to eat, take a nap or bedtime. I'm just as impressed with it as my kids are. This is a great toy!

Summary: 5 computers and 12 USB ports later
Comment: I got this item after reading a lot of peoples reviews on multiple sites. For the most part they all said that it didn't work on one computer but did on another. Well I own a Mac and know that Pooh wasn't compatible with that but I have access to multiple PC's at work. Well I brought the item to work followed the instructions on installing the program disc and choosing my setting and then I go to plug Pooh in and it doesn't upload. So I go to trouble shoot the item and go to Fisher-Prices web site and trouble shoot my bear and they tell me that there is nothing they can do but to send it back. Well I am stubborn and I read some more reviews and decided that I should try other computers. I went to four other computer and tried all of their available USB ports and still nothing. 5 computers and 12 USB ports later it looks like Pooh doesn't know my childes name and is getting sent back to Fisher-Price heaven. Fisher-Price acknowledges this problem and yet they don't have a patch to fix it. Oh well, just know that buying this product could potentially cause you to kill Pooh.
